The stone bungalow belonging to Peradeniya, a Kandy-owned suburb, is currently operating as a guest house by the University. The bungalow was built in 1939 by Colonel Thomas Yates Wright, the owner of the Mahakanda Estate. At that time this bungalow was introduced as Wright’s bungalow.
