So that’s how we are into discussing Japan Batu/ ජපන් බටු, Mella dumkola, මැල්ල දුම්කොළ, Singappuru kola (සිංගප්පූරු කොළ), The English names are Sweet Leaf Bush and Star Gooseberry. The botanical names are Aalius androgyna and Aalius oblongifolia. The roots are used to treat some diseases in Ayurveda like Headache, Fever, Urinary tract disorders, Uterine disorders, Wounds
